Were You Bullied
Clients have been discovering the subtle and not so subtle effects of childhood bullying on their current success and decision making processes.
The Bullied Feel Left Out
Being left out is the hot button for so many people. Being bullied by being bexcluded is one of the bully’s most powerful acts. It implies you are Not Good Enough to be included. Then you second guess yourself and wonder what is wrong with you.
Not just groups of kids can exclude you but coaches, teachers, parents, co-workers, “friends”. You may have felt ashamed because you bought into that there must be something wrong with you.
One of the reasons bullying is such passion of mine is that my siblings bullied. I was not included. There was the three of them and then there was me. Decision were made and then I was told what to do. They would all go on vacation together and I would not be invited.
Just to Be Included
Seeking to be include is huge subconscious motivating factor. It cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars as I chased the Shinny Thing to be a part of this program or group.
Think of how you have turned yourself into a pretzel, compromising your beliefs or principles just to be included to not feel not left out.
TAG Yourself for Success™
It is us believing the “bully” that is the problem. That is why I am so passionate about teaching adults and children to TAG YOURSELF FOR SUCCESS™.
Knowing how Talented, Able and Gifted (TAGs) you are, deepens your understanding of why you are fabulous. Being convinced in who you are, no matter what the bully says or does, you can know who you are.
